Recommended by Emma Woodward.....  I use Chez Paws to walk Milly when I can't and I believe they also have daycare. I can't fault them at all. Website Chez Paws

Recommended by Wendy Longbottom..... I go to a guest house in Hartlepool, when training with Dianne Talbot, which isn't posh but is clean and friendly and the breakfast is huge, I always ask for half a breakfast!! Dogs are allowed in the rooms, Julie puts me in a twin so that the dogs have a bed!!! One weekend I was in a single room so she put a duvet on the floor for them, you cant get more dog friendly than that!! Website: Brafferton Guesthouse.

Recommended by Linda.... The Sun Hotel at the top of Haworth is brilliant for well behaved dogs. we have been going there for over 5 years with our dog and Pete. Carole and Rob who run the Pub and Hotel have no problems with this. Definitely recommend!!

Recommended by Lynne Thorne.... A great place for holidays with pets and/or horses is Lochhill Farm at Ringford, Castle Douglas, Dumfries & Galloway. The cottages are well kept and two dogs are allowed at each one. There is a circular walk on the farm which is ideal for morning and evening walks. Website: Loch Hill There are numerous walks, beaches, forests etc., within easy access. For those who also like to cycle there are excellent facilites in the 7 Stanes Forests http://www.7stanes.gov.uk Lochhill is also an equestrian centre with treking, riding lessons etc., you can also take your own horse/horses with you.

Recommended by Lisa Blenkinsop... A couple of pubs that allow dogs inside to add to your list: Coopers in Guiseley & Fannys Ale House in Saltaire.
